We stayed here for 3 nights on our way home from Scotland in July 2021, and we will definitely stay again.
The site consists of a well mown grass field behind the nursery, surrounded by trees. We didnt have any rain so cant comment on drainage but the field is generally level and flat. Access is very easy from the A1, and although the driveway into the nursery is a little bendy there is plenty of width and height.
Facilities consist of two toilets, one with a shower, and both kept very clean and tidy. All pitches have electric hook up. Owners are very friendly but unobtrusive. There is a discount for campers if you buy plants from the nursery.
One of the best features of this site is the location. Knaresborough is a short (but hilly) walk away; its a pleasant market town and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. You can catch a train from Knaresborough station to Harrogate (Bettys Tea Rooms) or York (Railway museum and cathedral). Supermarkets and petrol stations are a short drive away.
