This site is near to the M5 junction but you cannot hear the traffic.   The last 1/4mile is a single track road with a dyke on one side and no passing places luckily its very quiet.  Once you arrive at the site which is a small field, you enter through a farm gate.   There are no access issues, I took my twin axle in and out without bother.    The site itself is well kept, grass mown regularly.  Waste water is dumped in the dykes surrounding the field.   The toilet empty point is under cover which is a nice touch.    There is a single toilet and separate shower which costs 50p via honesty box. Just about everything is recycled including food waste, and all bins are emptied daily.   The owner is really friendly and often has for sale home grown produce. There is a pub on the main road Fox and Hounds which is a 30minute walk away which serves good food and is dog friendly.   There is a petrol station next door to it as well.   The site is centrally located and there are loads of places to go to a short drive away.   You do really need your own transport though. Burnham on sea is a short drive away where there is a cinema and supermarkets.  If visiting the town park at morrisons pay and display.   The town itself does not allow dogs onto the beaches anywhere. If in the area, I would recommend visiting Brean Down, you can park on the beach (watch the tide times) for £3 all day,   its a huge beach and dogs can run freely.  There is a National Trust office/shop/cafe there as well. Western Supermare also has dog friendly beaches, the south car park is on the beach and the north carpark not far from it. Cheddar gorge, wells, bath are short drives away and exmoor is about an hours drive as well. Cheddar gorge allows dogs inside the caves and on the cliff top (jacobs ladder) walk.  I would do this in reverse though, the exit is just behind the lion tearooms up a lane.  If you do it in reverse you avoid the £5pp entry fee, and it is still clearly signposted.
