We have just returned from our 6th visit to the delightful Rose Cottage. Large grass pitches separated by small trees and bushes, far reaching views, a superb information shed, 2 easily accessed drinking water taps, waste disposal point, and recycling dustbins. As the ground is predominately flint base, this makes for excellent drainage so this CL is ideal for motor homers and caravaners alike. The location is also ideal for motorhomers who do not want to move their vans, As a 15 minute stroll down the lane takes you into the small Georgian Town of Holt. Holt has a variety of high class shops, restaurants, wine bars and tea rooms (a Sunday roast in The Feathers pub is a must) it also has 2 Fish & Chip shops. There is also a half hourly bus service to the lovely seaside resorts of Sheringham and Cromer (change at Sheringham to catch the Coastliner bus) the bus continues its journey onto the City of Norwich, there is also an hourly bus to Fakenham, (a boon on race meeting days). Rose Cottage is owned by Richard and Vanessa. two of the nicest owners you will meet on the CL circuit. As the CL is adults only, and no dogs, it is peace and tranquility to perfection.
