This is a very smart CL with charming and friendly owners - there are two proper hard pitches - one near the house and one at the other end of the site by the woodland. We stayed for a January weekend in very wet weather and only hard pitches would be suitable. The basic pitch price is £17 per night with the electricity extra and metered (we paid approx. £2 per night) as such it is quite expensive (there are cheaper CLs with hard and electricity in the area). Having said that we enjoyed the site and had an excellent tour around the farm yard seeing their pigs and highland cattle etc. We also bought some of their meat which was very reasonable and delicious. Beware Heniker Lane on the approach - as said before it is very narrow and winding and has numerous potholes and when we were there was very flooded in sections.
