Lovely site run by a lovely woman

This is a lovely site with great views over Priddy and the Mendips. Care needed if arriving from the Cheddar direction with a long outfit and the entrance is rather bumpy, however the welcome couldn't be better and Mrs Smith goes 'above and beyond' to ensure a happy holiday. Some road noise, but set in a generally peaceful area. So much to see and do in the area and Mrs Smith will help with advice on where to go. Well worth a visit.

Ideal CL

Back again to Rowberrow CL, the same friendly warm welcome as usual, weather sunny and warm showing off the best site views. Plenty of lovely walks close at hand for those who enjoy walking, those not wishing to walk it’s peaceful and quite to sit out and relax. Good food available at the local village pub.

Lovely CL

A lovely CL perfectly located for me with regards to carrying out country pursuits but equally perfectly located for visits into Wells. Great views on a nice day, nice family ran site with all of the facilities required. The Fountain Inn is recommended for eating in Wells and is dog friendly too. They had 4 Real Ales on during our visit and the food is first class. As mentioned in prior reviews, there is a road that runs along side the site but traffic noise never kept me awake at night and I am quite a light sleeper. We will return to this site in the future.

Lovely CL

We spent a lovely week at Rowberrow Farm.  A very well kept site, level, easy access, well spaced pitches.  Very friendly and helpful owners.  Wonderful views across the Mendips.  Good food at the pub in Priddy.  Great for walking and cycling either in the hilly terrain of the Mendips or the flat of the Somerset Levels.  Lots to do and see in the area.  Only one slight drawback - the road can seem a bit noisy at times if you're not used to hearing traffic.

A Great CL

Another few days stay with the normal great welcome from all the family that you get on each visit. Ideal place for walking but a central point for all types of activity and places to visit. Quiet well spaced pitches with an all in price. Recomended

Excellent CLsite

This an excellent CL site. Large pitches in a paddock that overlooks the Somerset Countryside. Friendly owners and family who work the farm. Easy access for the longest units (as long as you come from Green Ore, not Cheddar Gorge). As a Somerset born and bred man who now lives in Scotland, this will be our Somerset base whenever we travel back to 'Gods own county'. Only negative i can think of, and this is not something that the owners can address, is that the mobile/internet reception is poor (Three and T-Mobile/EE)

Rowberrow Farm CL

Pleasant quite site with great views over the Mendip hills and with plenty of room on each pitch with water taps near. Grass pitches and a large hardstanding all with electric hook up. Room for kids to play. Pub in nearby village can be walked to across farm footpaths. Plenty of things to do and visit in the surrounding area, Wells, Cheddar Gorge and not far from the coast towns of Burnham- On-Sea Weston-Super-Mare and Clevedon. Also a Good walking area. Pleasant and very helpful site owner and family.
