Why stay here ...

As Club Members for many years, we have decided to have our own site.

A pleasant, flat, quiet site with stunning views over the Mendip Hills. Plenty of room on each pitch with individual electric hook ups and water taps near by. Grass pitches and a large hard standing available. Room for children to play. Pubs in nearby village can be walked to across fields. Plenty to 'see and do' in the surrounding area, with Bath, Wells, Cheddar, Glastonbury and Clevedon not far away! Friendly and very helpful site owner and family. Working Farm.

All year round hardstanding storage for caravans and motorhomes - please phone for details.

Pros and Cons

Let’s get the cons out of the way first - unfortunately we didn’t have a warm welcome, or see the owner at all (because of COVID I imagine) just a notice on the gate asking us to park and put the money through the letterbox. This is understandable eg as someone may have been ‘shielded’. The B3135 running alongside the site is quite busy for a B road. This site is advertised as having WiFi, but WiFi was only available on 1 or 2 pitches, so if WIFI is a must for you I wouldn’t advise it until the current system is boosted. The phone signals also were intermittent, as mentioned by other guests too. In fairness I should say that Mrs Smith had said on the phone that we could have the pitch nearest to the house where the signal is more likely to reach, however the privacy is better at the hard standing pitch further away and not near to the farm houses/buildings. We chose that because rain was forecast. I had always assumed (obviously in error) that if a CL is advertised as having WiFi that it would cover all 5 pitches. Now for the Pros - the site is high up on top of the Mendip Hills, it has beautiful views and the television signal is perfect. The field is flat and well mown.

Fantastic site, lovely owner

Just got back from a weeks stay here. Fantastic site, peaceful and surrounded by amazing scenery. Lovely lady that runs the site and very welcoming. And the sheep are friendly too. Fully enclosed site, our dogs loved it!, Lots of places to go in all direction within a nice walk or short drive. Would highly recommend!! You’ll be seeing us again soon.

Lovely site run by a lovely woman

This is a lovely site with great views over Priddy and the Mendips. Care needed if arriving from the Cheddar direction with a long outfit and the entrance is rather bumpy, however the welcome couldn't be better and Mrs Smith goes 'above and beyond' to ensure a happy holiday. Some road noise, but set in a generally peaceful area. So much to see and do in the area and Mrs Smith will help with advice on where to go. Well worth a visit.
