Nice site, fantastic views

Very easy to access from the A49. Access from the A44 is slightly tighter with high hedges, but doable if you don't mind about a mile or so of narrow roads. Access into the gateway of the drive up to the site is nice and wide. The site is on the top of the hill, with fantastic views from all pitches. Hard standing for caravan, and grass for awnings. If you have a big awning you would probably need to park on the grass opposite the caravans, but this would not be a problem. Toilets serviceable, and clean. Cannot comment on the shower as did not use it. Bins, with some recycling, and waste. water points all within easy reach of all the pitches. Waste point very well laid out, making it easy to empty grey or toilet waste. Jean is very friendly, but happy to leave you to get on with things. She has lots of local information if you need it. The only slightly negative for us is that it was not as quiet as we would have expected. Did get a bit of background noise from the A49 drifting over the site. No massively intrusive by any shade but could be heard at all times. So much to do in the area, including 2 National Trust properties with 10/15 minutes. Despite the little negative, we would recommend this site, and will be visiting it and the area again.

why don't people staying on a C.L. look at a map before they book so that they can book one that is twenty miles from any road so they don't hear any road noise to moan about
