This is a tidy site in a garden-like area next to the house but feels private and secluded. The owners are very friendly and will come and chat and make sure you are settled in. There is a storage area for caravans through the site but this never bothered us. It is only a five minute walk to the nature reserve and flooded clay pits and these are wonderful for wildlife. The footpath along the River Humber is perfect and we strung together a fine walk as far as Far Ings Nature Reserve. The pub in Barrow Haven is friendly and only a 10 to 15 minute walk away. Otherwise there is little except birds and squirrels to disturb you here.
