Lovely site with serviced pitches

We are a family of 3 caravans and booked this site last minute as the site we had planned on going was waterlogged. What a gem this site was, with easy access to Rutland water and loads to do around the area, the kids loved playing in the area with plenty of space that was very secure. With hardstanding, level and each pitch serviced this was a lovely added bonus. The owners John and Marie and their son were very accommodating. We will defo be back to this site.

Fully serviced pitches - such a treat!

My husband couldn't have been happier about the fully serviced pitches (especially for a winter stay)! Great location for exploring the local area. Easy access to Rutland Water and East Carlton Country Park. Excellent swimming pool at Corby for a wet weather day and I noticed a cinema next door to the pool too. Owners who are pleasant without being intrusive - ideal.

Perfect cl with fully serviced pitch

Stayed for 6 nights over New year with 2 adults 2 kids and a dog. Arrived after 12pm and the directions given took us straight to the gate which has a caravan club sign either side. Good entrance with plenty of room to pull off the road even with our 24ft trailer. Rang the number to see which pitch we had to go on and spoke to John who came out and met us as soon as we got through the gate. The pitches are a good distance from the main entrance which is good for security and has Motion sensing spotlights on once dark. John told us we could use the combination lock and chain which was on the fence if we wanted to. As we was the only pitch occupied at the time. After we got set John explained to us that the water had been turned off for the feed to the cistern on the chemical toilet disposal point and could we use the buckets to rinse after. Not a problem for us. The next day he ran a new pipe feed while we was out and he showed us how to use the flush when we got back. So no need to use the buckets which was only a temporary measure. This is a new site and the new grass and soil has not settled down yet and does pick up on your feet but this may have been due to all rain we had also. We loved the serviced pitch especially the grey water waste drain and own tap which saved a lot of trips with 4 of us showering. Plenty of space for the kids to play in the field and a good walk for the dog each morning. Loads of country parks and corby only a 10 minute drive for shopping and leisure activities. This has gone onto to our favourites list and can't wait to return again soon
