We were looking for somewhere central so we could visit all our favourite areas of Cornwall without being stuck travelling for ages. We also like to stay at CL as they provide everything we need as mature caravaner's without breaking the bank. Saffron Park fulfilled these and much more .It’s extremely central for everything easy access to the A30 means you are never far from anywhere. The Amenities are clean useful and do everything you need. It’s a simple yet fulfils all you need site and the welcome was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return should we need somewhere to stay in Cornwall.

Good location

On arrival we were welcomed and everything explained regarding layout of site. Could pitch on grass or hard standing at any angle one chose. Very convenient location for the Eden project, Heligan garden and other places of interest.

Good base

We visited this CL for 2 weeks in summer of 2016. Enjoyed our stay. The noise of the road is not bad, but means you should not expect to sit and relax on site. Better to get out to the beautiful places in Cornwall, which is easy. But the hot tub is worth every penny of the extra charge! Owner built it for himself and uses it a lot. It is good! Owner is very helpful. The Wi-Fi was weak and wobbly. Maybe been upgraded since our visit. Clean well maintained site.

Excellent site

Good location, OK a bit of traffic noise but this is made clear in the site description, easy access to north and south coasts. Helpful owner who appears to run the place single handed, this may explain why the owner had gone shopping when previous reviewer arrived? Spotless loo and shower, bin area etc. Owner allowed us to stay longer on departure day as pitch was not needed that day. Easy access from A30. Two very enjoyable weekends at this site this season. Recommended.

Unsatisfactory

I would like to say how disappointed we were with this site . We arrived at 12 as arranged to find no body there we walked around to see if we could work out where to pitch up , but as this was only our second site we had ever booked we were unsure . We phoned the number but went to answer machine , we waited for over an hour and still no one turned up . We then went on our way to find another site for our holidays . Eventually Mr Jeffries contacted us to say he had gone shopping !!!!!!! Is this really a eat to run a business ? And the site wasn't very appealing ether we shall not be recommending this site .

Fantastic site

We will definately be using this site whenever we visit Cornwall in the future. Dave could not be more helpful with his local knowledge the site could not be any cleaner or tidier. This really is what visiting a cl is all about. The facilities are in great order and kept up to a really good standard maybe if you want complete peace it would not be for you however we found it nice to hear some traffic and to be able to look over at the a30. In one word your site is AMAZING Dave

First time on a CL

First time we have used a CL and a very good choice to start, site was clean and well laid out, facilities were clean and checked on a regular basis, rubbish bins emptied when needed, Owner was very helpful and there if you needed him, site is ideally placed for days out and easy to find, near the A30 but barely noticed any noise even when the road was wet, supermarket about 10 minuets away.

Great site

Dave is a very welcoming and knowledgeable owner who respects your privacy. Directions were impeccable, site very well cared for and access to local attractions couldn't be easier. The free wifi was especially welcome, especially as phone signals are poor (on a long trip, staying in touch is very important to us). Road noise was not an issue for us. Would definitely recommend Saffron Park!

birthday treat

We stayed for 5 nights at this relaxing site. Dave is very welcoming and informative. The large field was fun for our small dogs to run free in, although the grass was a little high for us to see them properly. We did use the spa tub and sauna for a very reasonable price. Thank you Dave, it was a lovely way to end our stay with you. We found it easy to access north and south coasts of Cornwall.

Amazing Site

We have stayed on this site twice. You always get a lovely warm welcome from Dave. The facilities are well maintained and you always have the added bonus of a dip in the hot tub or a relax in the sauna. You are on the edge of A30 but the noise isn't an issue. Cornwall is made for exploring and Saffron Park is the perfect location for just that.
