My partner and I spent a weekend at the site and found it to be perfectly palatable. Yes, the facilities are on the basic side (as heavily mentioned by other reviewers) but that didn't bother us in the slightest. We have pretty much everything we need in our camper van, so all we wanted from the site was a shower and a toilet, which was exactly what we got. The field itself is quiet and well kept, with easy access to the local area, sights and amenities. We met the couple who own the site and they were pleasant and welcoming. The site is also great if you own a dog, with the surrounding area offering plenty of opportunities to tire out our hyperactive spaniel! We will definitely return.
