We booked through CL Booking. On the CL Booking website, the site is described as adults only and £14 per night. On arrival we found a family with children on the site (who were very well behaved fortunately). We also found that the site was quoting £16 per night on its notice board and on the CAMC site. The pitches would benefit from levelling, it would be difficult to put up an awning on most of the pitches. The site has nice views across the Lune but access is down a single track road that is in poor condition in places. We met a HGV coming the other way on arrival and we are grateful that the driver was willing and able to reverse down the road to let us onto the site. Unfortunately when we were leaving we met a van driver coming the other way who was intent on squeezing past us.
We prefer to book adult only sites only because our dogs can get quite excited around children and we don't want to have to keep our dogs cooped up inside our van. I am not too concerned about the extra £6 we paid for the stay, I just think that the owners should ensure that if they are going to put their CL on CL Booking, they should ensure that the information they provide is accurate and consistent with the information on the CAMC site. We did not see the owner at all during our stay.
TV reception would be better described as non-existent rather than fair. Again, not a massive issue but some people may be disappointed if they were expecting to keep up with their soaps while there.
