An interesting place,no need to have worried
We needed to stay in Dewsbury for a business meeting. We were concerned about some of the reviews, but there was no need to have been . You drive through an industrial area, but but it the site itself is clean, and the marina and narrow boats, with people fishing added interest and a different view. The pub was not noisy, just the sound of happy families chatting and it was bank holiday Monday. The pub was very clean, and basic withe a friendly approach very good value food. We would be happy to stay again if we were in that area.
