Mucky

Very large muddy holes as you drive to a pitch, got stuck the first night and I was sliding everywhere and was covered in muck, it needs serious attention. Don't bother washing your car because it will get covered in mud. Just as you come in/out the gate of the pitches, watch your tyres because there is a big kerb ( needs filled in). The 1 and only shower is disgusting, the toilets (shipping container) is unisex. The site is surrounded by canal boats which would look lovely if the boat owners were made to keep their areas tidy instead of like a rubbish dump, totally wastes it. They say there are 5 pitches but there's only 4 because one caravan is sighted permenantly. Not all had though, The Leggers inn serves excellent food and the staff work really hard, there's lots of great events on and it has a huge beer garden. It is also central for many places of interest and is very local to familiar shops.
