Sheltered Gem

Stayed at the vineyard for 9 nights (late April 2017). The site is really sunny and sheltered, good for the vines and the CL visitors. Although it is close to the shop, tea room, nursery and the main road it is very quiet and when on site you really do not know they are there. The site is really well placed centrally for the area with lots of forest close by and easy access to attractions if you want them. Roydon woods nature reserve is an easy walk or cycle from the site and is quieter than the main forest but a very pleasant place to visit and at the end of April had a good show of bluebells and primroses. The coast is not far away and I can recommend the beaches around Highcliffe with great views to the Isle of Wight. A great location. We will return.
