We have just returned from Sheringwood after spending a week there. The site is surrounded by wonderful woodland views and the view across Sheringham to the sea. There is a slight slope on pitches 1 & 2 so bring levelling blocks. There are woodland walks and paths and a 25 minute walk through woodland will bring you into Sheringham town which is a very picturesque and lovely town with walks along the beach. The area is great for lovers of wildlife and birds with a local deer park at Holkam House and a proliferation of RSPB reserves. The A149 coast road has things of interest round every corner. The site itself is well laid out and maintained. Our only slight drawback was the noise from the adjacent lawnmower factory but this is not too intrusive. The Wifi was as good as being at home and the TV signal was OK but a little broken on occasion. We had a great stay here and would rate it as one of the best we've been on.
