"Room with a View"

We spent a few days here on our way up to Scotland. The site is peaceful and has lovely views. Lots of places of interest in this area and some lovely scenery too. We would recommend this CL.

Great Site, stunning views

We spent 15nights here from 1st June 2014, could have stayed longer though. The views from the site are stunning over the Cheviots. Mr & MrsCoxon very helpful and the site has all you require from a CL. Would like to return at some point in time. Definately recommend it.

I can recommend this site

Just spent 5 niights on Mr Coxon's beautiful site. Stunning views from the pitch & all the peace & tranquility you could wish for. The stunning Northumberland Coast is at your doorstep..Castles galore! The Coxons couldn't have been more helpful Plenty of shopping in Alnwick, together with yet another castle and garden!

Lovely relaxing break

Just returned from 6 nights on this lovely CL site. The site is fairly level and pitches are well spaced out so even if all pitches in use would not feel cramped. Set back off the main road, we had a week of peace and tranquility. Excellent digital tv reception. The owners (Michael - not Martin as noted in previous review) and his wife were a lovely couple, available for a chat and local information if required but left you in peace to enjoy your break. Excellent base for touring Northumberland and we would certainly use again when back in the area. Restored our faith in CL sites after a bad experience of an overbooked and unattended CL site in Kent lat year.

Fantastic CL

A lovely, well-kept CL that is a credit to Martin the owner, who is a very friendly guy. For once the post code and Sat nav agreed so no problems finding it. The electric hook-ups are well spread out so there is plenty of space for everyone. The site is ideally situated for travel for Alnwick, Bamburgh, Cragside and Lindisfarne.

a warm welcome

a delightful CL - very neat and tidy, beautiful and tranquil location with lovely views, plenty of space beween pitches, excellent host with a warm welcome and great local knowledge. Great showers at local pool in Alnwick (cubicles for females, open for males) and launderette opposite Sainsbury's. Outstanding bookshop (Barter Books) in old railway station building. Would definitely recommend!
