Fantastic site

We stayed here May 2017 with our 2 kids. Really lovely site. Access roads to arrive a little narrow in places - but pulling in places and roads quite quiet so often when coming in/out didn't meet anything. Rough section of road just before getting to site which makes you wonder 'oh no where are we going!' But I promise a short way ahead is a hidden gem. The caravan field is next to a large field of tents (separated by wildflower border). There is a tap in corner of field and a lovely modern shower /toilet block across road from field. We were amazed at how quiet it was despite having a very full field of tents behind. The caravan field was HUGE, for 5 vans. Our kids were playing rounders, football and cricket and were no where near any other caravans. It was brilliant! Lovely sea views too as you are on a hill. I didn't see owner all week but she text to give information when I asked questions and was helpful. We wanted to stay on here but sadly they were fully booked so we had to leave. Would recommend this - especially if you have kids who need 'space'. Access drive not for the faint hearted but only short stretch and worth it when there. This was the first time we've ever stayed on a CL site... we loved it and think it'll be CLs all the way now! It was strange not 'checking in' - we just turned up and pitched. A sign re: where things were would have been useful though. But this experience has converted us. Loved the space and fact not overcrowded.

Excellent hot, modern showers & toilets

Super CL site next to a field with tents using the unisex shower & toilet facilities (which was a bit of a surprise!) and remember your loo roll as no facilities for toilet paper!! - presumed because they walk! Only a Short walk on bridle path to querky, well-known Druidstone Hotel with fantastic views for a drink or meal. Used the Puffin Shuttle as risky using the very narrow roads with Motor Homes and Caravans. The bus is great as can hail. Can't use UK pensioners bus pass (0nly Welsh issued pass)The other reviews give good access advise. Great coastal views and sunsets. Will return!

Lovely Holiday site

We stayed for 3 nights in August. Finding the site was quite easy but lookout for the old red phone box, its tucked round the corner as you approach the little cross roads. The first bit of unmade road is VERY rough but its only about 50 yards. Once on site we were made very welcome & told to pitch up anywhere, the field is very large for 5 units we hook ups placed along both sides. The views are stunning. The facilities are clean & modern, showers are free. There are 3 showers, 3 toilets & two basins in one large area. The only down side I can see is lack of privacy whilst using the basins but the showers have large private dressing areas. If you don't like washing up in your 'van there's a washing up sink too. The farm also run a busy camp site, its separated by an area of meadow from the CL & didn't cause us any trouble but did mean that at times the facilities could be busy. Its about 10 minutes walk to the Coastal path & a lovely hotel / pub. All in all, we'd go back like a shot!

Peace & quiet

We stayed for 10 days in June, a lovely site ideal for exploring the area. The Druidstone Hotel is a 10 minute walk along a bridle path, great pub & good food. The showers & loos are good.  Access is fine, the only downside is a very short stretch of bad unmade road, but otherwise a perfect site.

Great CL

A lovely CL with easy access to the Coastal Path. Access to the CL could be a bit tricky with a big unit down a narrow lane, but once there you will get a good welcome and be able to enjoy fantastic views across St Brides Bay. Facilities are excellent, but don't forget you loo roll! The adjacent camping field adds to the ambience, and helped us out considerably as the CL was fully booked for one night when we arrived on spec having left a nearby, unpleasant CL. We will be back, hopefully to enjoy better weather too!

Perfect.

We went in May for a short break in our new motorhome. At the time we were there, no tents were in the adjoining field. We both loved this site, beautiful views, peaceful, plenty of space, loads of walking and possibly the best pub we've been to within 500 yards. Book early as they only allow 5 tourers and it was full for our stay.

Next to the Pembroke Coast Path

When we arrived it was blowing a gale and the site is quite exposed to the wind. We watched a couple in the adjacent field trying (and failing) to erect a tent. There is ample space for units with well spaced hook-ups. The toilet block is new with 3 loos, three showers and washbasins. Take your loo paper with you as none is provided. A short walk down a bridleway takes you to the coast road and the coastal path. About half a mile away is the Druidstone Hotel with its quirky cellar bar. They do themed menus on most Tuesdays but you must book. The Puffin Shuttle hail and ride bus service runs past the bottom of the bridleway and can take you to St Davids in one direction and Marloes in the other (and all coastal points between). Check the timetable as they only run 3 times a day in each direction.

Stress free and welcoming.

Just perfect for us, really friendly, helpful and accomodating people. Fantastic hot showers, always clean and washing up facilities. If you don't like providing your own toilet roll or washing up under the stars then go elsewhere. If you want an area of outstanding natural beauty with a steep walk to the beach, fantastic sunsets and access to the coastal path look no further. We are going back! Did I mention the seals?

New toilet/shower block

Agree with all previous comments: wonderful location - watched the sun set across the bay; peaceful - listened to waves crashing on beach below; 2 minutes from coastal path - which provides a beautiful 2 mile walk to Broad Haven; near Druidstone Hotel, with tempting menu. But disagree about comments regarding facilities - as they now have a new toilet block with 3 showers and 3 toilets.  All spotless, well designed, with hot showers; yes you do have to take your own toilet paper, but not really an inconvenience!  Just the kind of CL we love.
