Excellent for our dogs, fantastic digital guides

Had been wanting to try this site for a while but it's a long way from where we live. We were touring the UK and nearing Lincolnshire just as Nicola advertised a 3 night cancellation. We snapped it up and weren't sorry we did. Very easy towing access so no problem for larger units. Information including gate code provided in advance in what is probably one of the best digital guides we've had, full of information. You pitch in an available pitch on arrival, there was only one pitch free when we arrived but we were happy with it and would have been happy with any of them. They're all well spaced, plenty of room for unit and awning on hardstanding and you can park your car on the grass. No shade on pitches but because of the space you can move cars around the van. Elsan point and refuse very close to pitches so no long hauls as is info hut. You take electric reading on arrival and departure and fill out a form and pay for what you use (unless you forget to do it on departure like we did and got a very polite reminder from Nicola - sorry). The 2.5 mile dog walk around the crop fields is great, ours loved it and was nice to be able to give them a decent walk early when it was cool. Lots of nice walks nearby and we found lots of nice river swimming spots for the dogs. We didn't eat out as we'd taken all food with us but pub recommendations in guide and supermarkets galore nearby. Some road noise from the A46 if the wind is in the wrong direction but nothing which bothered us unduly. We didn't actually get to visit Lincoln Castle or cathedral as it was too warm to take the dogs in. We would definitely recommend and if this was closer to home for us would be a favourite weekender
