A hidden gem
What a great find at the end of the Llyn peninsular A large well cut field with plentiful EHU so you can choose where you park up. A single toilet and great shower are clean and a welcome break from the one in the motorhome...
The scenery is stunning and the coastal path is a short walk from the site. Choughs were controlling the rocky cliffs when we were there which was an awesome sight. Lovely walks in both directions provided different views round every promontory.
Electric bikes helped us explore and the 30 minute ride along quiet lanes to Whistling Sands was worth it. The sheltered sandy cove was idyllic and housed a cafe with great breakfast. Aberdarron however offered pubs, ice cream and lots of cakes!
Michael was a pleasure to talk to, accommodating and genuine. His communication to ensure our safe arrival was helpful and reassuring as you feel as though you are driving in to the middle of nowhere!
We didn't get round to doing it but you can catch a boat to take you over to Bardsey island.....a definite for next time.
