First Visit To This CL

Just returned from 10 days at this CL, warm welcome from the owners, lovely to see Alpacas and Chickens. Convenient for local shops and buses, supermarkets within a few miles. Our pitch looked out over the fields with horses in. Although we didn't visit this time there's a local Country Park within walking or cycling distance which we were told was very good. If in the area we would certainly visit again.

Nice cl

Second visit to this Cl. Agree with all previous reviews. Shop about 1 mile away with pavement so you can walk to it. Nice hard standing for winter camping. New friendly owners. Even though it's by the main road, there is quite a long drive and Cl site well away from the road, behind some buildings overlooking fields so well away. Would stay again.

Great Welcome

Great welcome from the new owners, Angela and Tim. Had stayed on the site about 4 years ago and wondered whether it would be as good as previously. I need not have worried. Angela was brilliant and has already put her own 'stamp' on the site. She has great plans for the future and I'm sure they will only enhance what is already a very pleasant location. Look forward to visiting again in the future.

Still a Great CL

New owners since June 2015. Now run by Angie and Tim who make every one so welcome. Have stayed at the CL many times because of its great location with nearby bus routes, shops and great pub. It's going to be even better now with all the improvements being planned by the owners. Alpacas still in residence. A great CL especially for Motorhome owners during the off season months with the hard standings and very close proximity to the main road through Three Legged Cross. Will certainly be very regular visitors.

A perfect CL for peace and Quiet

Communication with the owners is easy and friendly. On arrival at Southern Comfort you are greeted at the gates by the resident alpacas, who are equally as friendly. The site has easy access. The pitches are best if you use a mover or push your outfit front on, giving you the best views across the paddocks. There is a largely off road route to the nearby Moors Valley Country Park. Drusilla's Arms PH 3 miles north is a lovely country pub serving good food. There are no washing or toilet facilities but good water and drainage. There is a local shop approximately 1 mile from site. All in all, Southern Comfort has become a favourite of our and we have already booked our next visit.

A Motorhome owners Dream CL

What a wonderful all year round CL and what a pleasure to visit . Great owners who make you feel so welcome and will go out of their way to help in any way. Great location ideal for visiting many places in the South from beaches to the New Forest and for those that also must have a shopping fix there is Southampton, Bournemouth and Poole closed at hand. For those of you that are animal lovers they have even laid on three super cute Alpacas to admire and chat to. Happy to visit over and over again. Hope to see you there!!!!!!
