Ticks all boxes

A perfect little gem of a cl,Martin & Lucy are wonderful hosts in every way.Never imposing but always helpful in local knowledge etc.The site is set in large almost level field with commanding viewsin every way,and just a short distance from the A30 .The site is central for all the main towns and beaches and what we loved with two Labs was the south west coastal path with stunning views and scenery.Love this site so much that are arranging our return visit. If you enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the country you will not be disappointed.

Lovely Tranquil Stay

We wantd peace and quiet for our first wedding anniversary and that is just what we got. Beautiful site with lovely views. Lucy was very welcoming and we had a lot in common. Very easy to get into St Agnes and we enjoyed the carnival and beautiful beach. We will definitely be back -thank you.

EXCELLENT CL - FAB LOCATION

We have just returned from a wks stay on this CL. It is a stunning location, the pitches are grass and each pitch has water hookup, elec and a picnic bench. There is space for dog walks and it is an easy approach from the A30, no single track roads. The CL was full all the time we were there and it was mainly families being the school holidays. St Agnes is 5 mins away by car and there is a car park at the bottom which charges £2 per day but you need to get there early! Loved St Agnes and the beach is dog friendly(on lead), there are some great waves its good for surfing. Very quaint village we loved it and there is a play area on the playing fields not far from the CL. A few pubs and restaurants in the village, a chippy, Nisa local and butchers. We really liked this area and the CL is in great location for exploring this side of Cornwall. We visited St Ives which is approx. 15 miles away and the small cove in between the harbour is dog friendly and we loved that beach. The site can get windy as its high up so take storm straps if putting an awning up and like a previous reviewer stated the slugs do come out at night so keep your eye on your dog, we made sure we treated ours for lungworm before we visited. We would definitely visit this CL again and we had a fantastic wk. The weather was a mix of sunshine/rain/winds but we still managed a few beach days and we had a very restful wk away.

Excellent Cl

The CL is immaculately mantained and professionally run. The approach roads are wide enough and the access is to the site is very good The site offers panaramic views across fields toward Godrevy Point and St Ives.and is a good base for visiting the area. Each pitch has its own water supply and picnic table which we thought was a nice touch. As an addd bonus the CL is owned by a dentist and the practice is on site, which I made good use of, coming down with toothache whilst there!

one of the very best

Just spent a few days at this fantastic site and experienced a near 360 degree view of this part of Cornwall. 5 pitches on well mowed level grass with water point at each pitch. helpful owner who greeted us and then left us to get on with things. This CL is a much better bet then the club site down the road (where seasonal pitch owners bag the best pitches) The site is only 2 or 3 miles from the main A30 so no narrow lanes to negotiate. Good walks along the cliff paths and some stunning coastal views made this a memorable break. Looking forward to returning sooner rather then later

What a View!

This site is located at Goonbell, just above St Agness and what a location! From our pitch we could see south all the way to St Ives and to the north: Hollywell near Newquay. The grounds and services are meticulously maintained. Water and electric hookups are all within easy reach of the pitches. The pitches themselves are more than generous. Highly recommended.

Lovely Cornwall

Found the owners friendly and helpful pitches large ample room for car big vans and owning pitches well marked out all with their own water big bonus site well-kept loads of room for children to play well away from vans but still in sight dog walk round the perimeter of field good views very quiet site the sunsets are fantastic plenty of places to visit only drawback is quite a lot of slugs on damp nights and mornings but once the sun comes out the slugs disappear would definitely use this sight again and again.

our ultimate CL

In 34 years of caravanning this has to be the best CL we've stayed on, just perfect. Quiet with fantastic views, glorious sunsets, and water to each level pitch is a bonus. Very easy access to and from the A30.Martin and Lucy the owners, are both friendly and available should you need them.
