A super site!

This is a belated review of this great CL as we were there in early June and have been away again so didn't have time to submit a review. The site is easy to access and having the water at each pitch is a bonus. I turned up with a single mains adapter which was just a bit short but I was able to obtain an extension from the Aztec Leisure caravan and camping shop a couple of miles away. The waste and recycling facilities are well maintained and tidy and easy to access. The pitches are well marked out and the site is well maintained. Lots of things to see in the area and access to the main routes is easy and we were able to explore both north and south Cornwall during our ten day stay. A lovely site to which we will return as there are so many other places to see in the area. Thanks Martin and Lucy for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful views, pitch with serviced water

We have just returned from a 10 night holiday at this idyllic CL. August 19th – 29th was probably the wettest and windiest week in August but this didn’t spoil our stay. Having the convenience of water serviced on your pitch was a real bonus and saved getting wet many times during our stay. The elevated position ensured that the field drainage was excellent and even with inches of rainfall the ground remained firm throughout our stay. Talk about a lawned pitch, the grass was better than my lawn at home. The elsan point, grey water and recycling and waste are professionally provided and are a pleasure to use. There is a choice of TWO TV masts so TV reception was no problem. We even had an excellent service for our mobile on the 3 network which we normally struggle with. On the few days when the mist and rain stopped we were treated to truly breathtaking views from St Ives round towards Newquay and of course inland as well. A trip to nearby Wheal Coats is well worth it if you are lucky you may even see them filming for Poldark. We have found this area centrally placed for visiting many great places in Cornwall. Should you need any caravanning accessories then Aztec Leisure is just a couple of miles down the road between St. Agnes and Perranporth on the B3285 tel. 01872 552372. Imagine staying on a field the size of three and a half football pitches with a maximum of five caravans with such spectacular views it’s just awesome!! Lucy and Martin have worked hard to provide a wonderful CL and are both very welcoming and a delight to speak to, being active caravanners themselves really shows on their site. Thank you very much for allowing us the pleasure of staying on your site. Being members for over thirty years and visiting many, many CL’s in our time you are now number 1 in our top five sites. As Arnie says we’ll be back!!

A Little Gem.

We spent a week on this CL in our motorhome in mid-June. It's hard to think of anything to say that has not already been said. The site is elevated, giving extensive views of the North Cornwall coastline from St. Ives towards Tintagel. The 5 pitches are all vast, each with their own EHU point and fresh water tap. Pitches are manicured grass and very level. Martin and Lucy were happy for us to exercise our 2 Collies off the lead in the huge meadow in front of the pitches. The dogs loved going off each morning to check where the Foxes had roamed during the night. We live only a few miles from the CL, and at this time of the year we like to discover the quiet spots where it's possible to escape the crowds. St. Agnes Caravan Site will become a regular for us, wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. Thanks again, Martin and Lucy.

Fantastic views

This site has great views from all pitches.  Each pitch has its own water and electric hook up. Loads of space.  Very quiet.  Martin and Lucy are friendly owners, with a couple of great dogs. Access is very easy. We have only just come home after 10 days, but we are already talking about going back there next year.  Didn't want to leave. Thanks Martin and Lucy for a lovely clean site.

May 10th 2015 holiday

Excellent site with wonderful views, and having the cold water serviced site was a real boon.  Lucy and Martin were very friendly and informative owners.  Would highly recommend this site.
