Secluded gem

This is a lovely well kept site , spacious pitches and secure with electric coded gate. Sadly the only downside to our stay was barking dogs from a neighbouring property , such a shame as this is really not the fault of the site owners. Hopefully this can be rectified.

Hidden Gem

The site is beautiful and well maintained by the owners, with plenty of flowers and shrubs. Pitches are well set out, with plenty of room. We have stayed on here many, many times over the years. It is always a pleasure to return. The owners are delightful, always making us feel very welcome.

A very good site

The site is well set out with small trees and flowers adding to the pleasant feel. It is quite flat and access at the gate is easy. The gate is controlled by a key code entry which adds a little to the security of the site. Each pitch has enough space for sitting out comfortably. There is no view beyond the perimeter perimeter of the site but this is partly made up for by the good ambience. The taps, recycling and disposal points are well sited and screened off. Everything is well maintained and clean. The owners clearly take pride in providing a good experience. Ground sheets are not permitted in awnings. We were warmly received on site, the owner in remembering the reason for our visit. Take not that your stress levels will be reduced if you follow the instructions on the Club website about how to get there. Many of the local roads are very narrow or single track in places. The area has plenty to do and Canterbury is a real gem. I strongly recommend the park and ride service which works well d costs £3 per car. We did a guided walking tour lasting an hour and a half and costing £6.50 per adult. It was informative and entertaining. The only negative was that 2 of our 7 mornings were disturbed by noise from local kennels and stables. The site could be improved by adding toilet and shower.
