Glad we stayed here...

We stayed at this site for our first visit to the Gower, on the recommendation of another CL which was fully booked, and were glad we did. Although this site doesn't have electricity, our motorhome is fine for a few days using the gas and solar panel to top up the battery. The field is sloping as described, but the top is fairly flat, sheltered and well mowed, so that is where everyone pitched, to get the wonderful views over the estuary towards Llanelli. The site is a short walk from Llanrhidian Cross, and it is easy to get a direct bus into Swansea or Port Einon, or with a bit more planning, to get connecting buses to Rhossili. There is also easy access to the coast path for walks to Weobley Castle for their amazingly good salt marsh lamb steaks. The garage mentioned in the directions to the site has a well stocked shop, including fruit and veg. The owners were friendly and the site has a new fresh water and waste area, which is well designed and easy to use, plus nice to see a range of re-cycling bins. We loved our stay here and would certainly recommend the site - for £5 a night what more could you want?
