We stayed here for 5 night in July and had a great time. The setting is lovely with the lakes, lodges and surrounding farm making for an out of the way feel. The CL seems to be shared with the anglers which is fine as they tend to need to keep quiet and themselves to themselves. The water points were well positioned however the chemical disposal point is an old toilet that has seen better days and could do with an upgrade. There is obviously a bin for rubbish but no recycling that we could see. I'm not sure if the onsite toilet is to be shared with the anglers or if it's anglers only. The only real down point for us and ironically it's not the fault of the CL is the quality of the walking around the area. Stretton Lakes and the council have done their best but the neighbours are very unwelcoming with fenced off styles, overgrown bridges, collapsed styles and unmaintained paths. The combination of GPS and maps was the only way to ensure you stayed true to the paths. Unfortunately I have made this feedback sound negative but that's not true from a basic CL point of view. We would go back again which is the real test!
