Beautiful spacious CL

Just stayed 11 nights at this beautiful cl. We have a big twin axle and access was really easy, wide entrance and lovely gravel drive all the way to the CL area. Very large field with large mature trees on two sides, I bet young children would have a field day in this woodland area. So much room we pitched well away from the trees so there were no overhanging branches over the caravan. Open field to the front, adding to the feeling of space and lovely views. Although I'm glad we just missed harvest, due to allergies. Everything was tidy and just right, grass cut a couple of times while we were there and clipping collected. Big biffa bins for waste and recycling which you access from a platform so no stretching, also really good chemical disposal, like club site standards, asking for Green chemical which I'm moving to all the time anyway. The site is just off a road which is fairly busy during the day but I was too busy talking to notice it. It was very quiet at night as there was very little traffic over night. I enjoyed listening to the owl and trees rustling. We took our bikes, Great access to Trans Pennine Way, very interesting around the Humber, Paull, Sunk Island, must see Patrington Church, Hornsea & Mappleton was a lovely quiet beach with Mr Moo's ice-cream from the Old Post Office. Hedon was our goto for shopping, lovely historic village. Also recommend the Hull guided walk with Paul Schofield and The Deep. Lovely holiday away from the normal tourist route.
