Very nice site

We enjoyed this site as it is very well looked after with some good paths mown around for walking. All facilities easy to access. It is literally straight off the A12 so provides good access to lots of lovely places. There is a slight noise from the road during the day but nothing at night time. The pitches are separated by hedges which provide good shade when it is too hot and are well kept and spacious. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Lots of good walking around the area with footpaths direct from site. Would recommend this site as it is lovely and peaceful and well worth a stay.

Good all round CL

Had a lovely stay with friends back in October. Very easy to find, which was great and very peaceful even though it is on the A12. Warm welcome from the owner, who even told us where we could get petrol (stay was during the fuel crisis). Would definitely return

Pretty and Friendly Site

Just returned from Sunflower House after a four night stay in incredible hot weather, we were on pitch 5 which gave shade to one side of our van and sunshine to the other so an absolutely perfect private pitch. Nice welcome from the owner who pointed out the paths around his property and also told us about the public footpath that also ran against his land and this led us to a fantastic walk through buttercup fields and onwards showcasing lovely Suffolk countryside. An excellent and enjoyable stay, situated just right for visiting the pretty seaside towns and having the luxury of just staying on site, watching the wildlife and meandering through the sites pathways. Thank you for having us.

Peaceful with animal interests.

Very nice friendly site - a home from home as we share interests in geese, goats, dogs, cats and many others. Although access is from the A12, it is in a quiet village and the site is peaceful. The sunflowers are amazing and there is access to numerous footpaths - excellent for dogs and exploration. We were only there for 2 nights but we managed to visit Dunwich beach. Although there were many people there, the majority kept social distancing and the beach was well spaced out. Owners very friendly and plenty of room between vans, separated by hedges, so no worries there in the current crisis. Also excellent for geocaching.

Quiet and peaceful location

This is a lovely site, the owners are very welcoming and friendly. The owners have created a lovely walk around the farm that we and our dogs enjoyed immensely. The pitch sizes are generous and are with easy reach of the water and elsan point. There is a lovely pub within walking distance plus a well stocked shop in the village We will return soon.

Blooming Marvellous

We stayed here for Christmas 2018, and on arrival we were greeted by the site owner who supplied us with a useful local information pack. This CL is beautiful: it is surrounded by grass footpaths which our dog loved, there are hedges between each pitch and there is a very useful information shed that is also the home for lots of useful things that you may just need to borrow on your trip away. We have been caravanning for five years and this is the first CL we have visited that has 'gone the extra mile' and given much needed written advice on what items go into each refuse and recyling bin and as the rules change from one council to another and can be very confusing – well done. With the homely welcome we received and the pleasure of staying at such a beautiful site, we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for a lovely Christmas break.

Absolutely loved it

Sorry, very late in reviewing this! We came to Sunflower House in May and had a very warm welcome and a cup of tea which was wonderful. A beautiful site with hedging down the sides of your pitch for privacy. A lovely walk around the site for dogs and our GSD had a great time. There is a summer house with a fantastic selection of books to buy with an honesty box to put your donation in. Brilliant pub just a short walk away - suggest booking a table and very dog friendly. Dunwich is a car ride away but a dog friendly beach and a good cafe. Absolutely loved this site and we’re going back in September!!

Great CL - Just the ticket

Stayed here last night and it was one of the best we have been on. Large flat pitches with hedging in between, lovely views over the sun flowers. Would recommend.

excellent cl site

Probably the nicest CL we have been on, we were lucky with the weather, the pitches are very private and the people were friendly, loved the walks through the wooded areas and the wild life, would definitely go again, was apprehensive of the A12, but it was ok, good pub 5 mins away, thumbs up for this CL.

Well kept site

We had our second visit to Sunflower Hiuse in July 2016, always a friendly welcome, superbly cut pitches which are separated by high hedges so very private. An ideal site for exploring the area, or just sit & look at the birds & sunflowers.  We will return.
