Absolutely Fabulous

Such a well maintained CL, clean and tidy. The owner Martin, gives a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble for him. Very friendly, (even lent us chairs to sit out on on a sunny evening) we really enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely be returning when around the area again. This is exactly what a CL should be!

Absolutely beautiful

We have just spent two wonderful weeks at this site. Immaculate clean site with immaculate clean facilities. Peaceful, lovely views over the fields and very large private pitches. What makes this site special is the owner Martin. Martin is so welcoming and friendly, he was so helpful we truly were sorry to leave. Easy access to all the areas of interest and beaches. Supermarkets (lidl and Tesco) within 10 mins. You simply could not wish for a better place to stay if you’re in this area. Thank you Martin, we hope to see you again. Kindest regards Brent and Debra

Perfect Site

I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of June 2023 after visiting another more busier and expensive site near Wroxham. This site was far more peaceful and the owner was very pleasant. I read all the other reviews on here before booking and I conclude they are accurate. The location is very good. The hedges in between pitches give privacy and the views across open fields are what I had hoped to find. The site is well kept, has electric hook up and very clean toilet facilities. I will definitely try to book this site when I visit the area again.

Immaculate site

A very well maintained and nicely laid out site with over-generous pitches all separated by a large hedge. Access into caster and Great Yarmouth by public footpaths or cycling. Castle and motor museam nearby. Immaculate toilet available to use in the house.

Lovely site!

Just had 5 nights here. Quiet, lovely setting. Each ‘bay’ is for two caravans, hedged around, so very private and lots of room. A superb CL. Owner very welcoming. Site well-placed for beaches and areas of interest. Will definitely return.

Beautiful site

Just left after 10 nights. Originally booked for 4. We love this site, our 2nd visit. The site is a credit to Martin the owner, who keeps it so clean and tidy. The pitches are so big, giving you so much space. With hedges for privacy. The toilet is kept really clean. The area is quiet and peaceful. Nice walks to the river and rode our bikes into Caister. Where you will find an excellent Indian restaurant , Spicy Pompadom ,and Chinese takeaway , Dragon palace, both will deliver. Nearby is Tesco and Lidl. We we’re in a small motorhome and took it into the surrounding beaches, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Southwold and Gorleston. We didn’t want to leave this excellent site and will definitely be back. I just wished we lived nearer to visit more often , our dog Gerti loved it also.

Excellent Site

Just got back from a weeks holiday on this site. Martin the owner is such an excellent host nothing was too much for him. Perfect location for visiting all the attractions on that coastline. Lovely large pitches and dog friendly. This is a site you must visit if it is peace and quite you want. Thank you Martin.

A relaxing and peaceful spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sycamore Farm. The pitches are generous and the Site Owner very welcoming. Our stay was so relaxing and peaceful. It’s a little gem. The site is near to shops and the lovely beach at Caister. Will definitely return. Thank you.

WOW WHAT A SITE

We have been caravanning for many years and this is one of the best Cl's we have stayed on. The pitches are bigger than enormous with fantastic views over farmland. Each pitch is separated by hedges which provide total privacy and although you could easily get maybe 6 caravans on each pitch normally, the whole pitch is yours for the time you are there. The grass is well cut and the hedging well pruned. If I had to score the site I would say it is outstanding. Martin the owner is an extremely amiable gent, who is always available if required, but who allows you to have complete peace and leaves you to enjoy the sound of the birds, watch the rabbits, the deer and enjoy the fabulous views. The site is adult only with water, electricity and there is a spotless private toilet with washbasin available. There are a number of beaches, towns, supermarkets all within close proximity and the seals on the beach at Horsey Gap are amazing I have never seen so many seals enjoying the sand, there are 100's of them. I am amazed that Martin only charges £16 per night which is amazing value. I hope that when we try and book in the future he has spaces as we definitely want to revisit, it has been a really enjoyable 10 nights. Many thanks Martin and save us a space if you can in the future.

Rural Retreat Gem

After reading many of the reviews about this gem of a CL site we were not disappointed. Martin Cockerill the owner was very attentive making sure every day that we were ok and satisfied with our stay. The site is well maintained and overlooks farmland. It is a brilliant location for having a chill holiday and is really well centred to visit Gt Yarmouth, Lowestoft, the Broads and the village of Caister only being a short drive away. After our six hour drive home, later that evening Martin telephoned us to make sure we had arrived home safe and sound. Thank you Martin for your kindness. Highly recommend this site.
