We stayed at Tax Farm for 3 weeks in Oct 2022, and loved it! The views are amazing, even when the weather isn't so good, but when it is, and the sun shines ...WOW!! On the way to Middleton top Engine House (great!) we came across some Landrovers off-roading which was great to watch, and the people were so friendly, welcoming us in to watch. Excellent!! We had great days out at Crich Tramway Museum, Cromford Mill, Ecclesbourne Steam Railway, NT Hardwick Hall, Abrahams Heights, a trip on the Birdswood Canal Boat, went to the Matlock Bath Illuminations, walked at Dovedale and Ilam Park, and loads more. So much to see and do! Our favourite pub was the Boat Inn, Cromford - friendly and with excellent food but look out for the Wednesday Steak Night when prices are very good!! We had a really lovely stay here, and would come back. Thank you for the tow out, and apologies for the late review but still working out how to do this on the new CAMC site, so resorted to the old site!!
