Don’t be put off by the review about the noise from the grass cutting

I have little to add to previous reviews except I think I must comment on the noise from the grass cutting mentioned in a previous review. We stayed for three nights and the grass cutter was in operation for two of the three afternoons we were on site. However, to put the impact in context, I fell asleep whilst the grass cutting was in progress ! That’s how intrusive it was ! Do not let it put you off the site because you will miss a gem - a beautifully laid out and spacious site, very well maintained ( especially the grass ! ) and within easy reach to an absolute gem of a sandy beach which is about half an hour’s walk there ( longer coming back because it is all uphill ) or just a few minutes by car. It was the end of May and just a few people on the beach. Our dog loved it but note that dogs have to be on a lead on the beach between June and September. Although there is no off-road dog walk nearby, I found the road outside site perfectly ok for off-lead dog walking; it is straight with hardly any traffic on and it is so quiet ( notwithstanding the grass cutter ! ) that you can always hear when cars are anywhere near.
