Marvellous site, spot-on welcome & facilities

We couldn’t have been happier to stay at this CL. From the welcoming email, to the signage & Covid measures, to the farm walks, everything just at the right level for a CL. Lucy could not have been more helpful & I would highly recommend it. Water hose provided, and easy grey water disposal for MH ( need to take a few metres of waste hose). Five stars.

Fantastic Site.

A fantastic Site, beautiful location, easy and good quality access. We recently stayed for 8 nights, amazing views and we were highly entertained by the antics of the lambs. The site is a great base and the family are very welcoming. It was a pleasure to visit such a spacious and well maintained site. We would highly recommend.

So relaxing

We popped down to the site after a busy week at work. Jedburgh was a great stop with plenty of places to stop with the van . The site was easy to find and a board at the gate showed us where to pitch. So quiet and relaxing watching the wildlife out the windows. Walked with the dogs up the hill and went in to see the lambs on the Saturday. What can I say apart from we will be coming back in the summer. Thanks

Relaxing tranquil Site

This was our second visit to this site. The first was far to short due to the popularity of this site. The communication was easy and excellent throughout our visit. The CL is easy to get to just of the A68 and is in an excellent area with great views from any of the all weather hardstanding pitches. Lucy was very helpful and kept the CL in perfect order including daily inspections and covid sanitising. It was a very restful few days and a repeat visit is certain.

Great folks, great site.

We are repeat visitors to this site as we are in the area regularly visiting family and although this is not the handiest site to stay on, but for us, Bairnkine is worth the extra few miles.

Restful few days

We spent a few days in this tidy, well organised CL in May. Weather wasn't great but ground was good and easy to park caravan. All pitches and entry are hard standing. Very friendly hosts who made time for us and keeping the site clean whilst in the midst of lambing. That was another education in country life. Would rate CL higher, although that may mean it will not be available to us again.

EXCELLENT SITE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We recently visited this beautiful CL and it’s magnificently well maintained (Lucy works tirelessly on her mower to keep it immaculate) the site is all hardstanding and with chemical toilet point, waste and fresh water point. They have some excellent dog walks and just outside the site (around a 15 minute walk) there is a woodland walk exclusive to the CL. I cannot rate this CL highly enough and as such we have booked to come back again in June - I would also add COVID regulations are very good there is sanitiser provided on the CL and COVID protocols are sent by email prior to your visit

An excellent site with great WiFi!

This is a lovely, very well maintained site with easy access to the pitches (Motor mover not required). During our stay Covid restrictions were in place so hand gel station was provided and no contact with owner as you would hope and expect. The WiFi here works really well and is a huge bonus, making the site great value. There are three grass pitches and two hard standing. We had hard standing number 2 which is almost level side-to-side and not far off front to back (makes set-up quicker when it's driving rain!). My only slight criticism is that the hard standing, which is a lovely, free-draining aggregate, is too narrow. The pitch is literally the width of the caravan which means that your water barrels, door step etc are all on the grass which turns into a muddy mess in rain. Wellys are needed at this time of year! A meter wider is all that's needed.

Lovely site, very well maintained

Lovely site, very well maintained. Friendly owners, 2 hardstanding pitches (plans to create 5 hardstanding this winter). Very convenient for Jedburgh (great town). Good walking.

Great CL

We used Bairnkine as a one night stopover. Excellent communication and pre arrival information. Lovely site with 3 grass and 2 hard standing pitches. Situated on a farm. Beautifully kept, great views from all pitches and great walks from the site. Excellent value for money!
