Dark sky site
A fantastic site with lovely owners. It does have a steep slope but as the pitches are terraced off the slope it doesn't matter. Peaceful with an abundance of wildlife viewed on site (including red squirrel) plus if you time your visit not to coincide with a full moon the star gazing is brilliant.
Surrounding area is so scenic, but quiet. It is like driving in the 1950's road traffic is that light.
This was our second visit in two years and all being well will be back again.
