Excellent CL!

A very spacious site, all hard standing, all level and one fresh water tap to every two pitches. Shower block facilities are communal but of good standard, cleaned regularly, shower and hot water controlled by coin in slot boxes. Owners were extremely helpful and friendly. There is some road noise but nothing excessive. Excellent security, well recommended site which we will be visiting again and again.

Great site to stay on if visiting nec

Very secure site, friendly welcome, good facilities, quite a bit of road noise but it didn't bother us we live next to main road so are used to it anyway, this site is ideal if visiting nec as only 15 mins away, had a lovely weekend here while visiting the caravan and motor home show February 2015

disappointing

We had to wait 5 minutes to enter the Cl, the entrance is via a security gate and the owners were not answering the doorbell/phone, First appearance was of a very busy site. In fact it looked more like a caravan club site than a CL. The second night there were 6 caravans on the site (5 caravan rule?) + a static caravan, campervan, 3 other caravans. There was a lot of road noise and aeroplanes were regularly taking off/landing. The worst aspect-dog excretement on the site. Not the tranquil site we expected.

Good young child friendly site

Totally agree with Dibble's comments. Nice well maintained site, very secure and ideal if you have little ones on bikes as enough space to let them roam in safety. Very helpful, friendly and flexible owners. Only downside is the road noise, it's not constant which is maybe the issue. If it was a low level all the time it would be better but it is quite inbetween so at night the contrast makes it slightly annoying. It didn't bother us so much on the second night as maybe we got used to it.

Relaxing return to caravanning after 5 years

After a 5 year break from caravanning we picked thus CL for its location a ten minute drive from Broadlane Caravans. Access was good and secure with a gate code. Welcomed by David the site owner and shown to our hard standing pitch. This was welcomed after the recent rain that we have had. Once parked up the hook up and tap was just a few feet away. No stress here. Altho the mention of the road noise in one of the other reviews needs to be considered, we didn't find it that bad at all... The grass areas of the site are clean and tidy, the service points for chemical toilet and rubbish was well equipped and to a good standard, even recycling is available. Altho we didn't use the toilet and showers they are clean and tidy and well equipped. TV signal good! Drinking Water excellent. O2 mobile signal and 3G not brilliant on our iPhones.. All in all a great first trip in our new Van. We will return! Happy

Well managed site with excellent facilities, but not a peaceful countryside site.

I stayed at this site in March 2014 whilst at an event at the NEC. Links to the NEC and Kenilworth are excellent - really easy journey and no traffic, so for me it was very well placed. Friendly welcome on site with helpful owners. The site is secure accessed through a security controlled gate. The site had been very well cared for through the winter months with well planned hard standings. Lovely to have electric and water adjacent to each pitch, well serviced site with shower toilets and washing facilities and the best laid out waste disposal point I have ever come across! I noted a couple of comments about the number of units on the site – the CL is clearly marked and had only 5 units when I stayed. There is a static caravan and a couple of other caravans in an adjacent area. This wasn’t a problem for me. The only downside for me was the road noise – the site is adjacent to a busy road and although it is well screened visually there is noise day and night. I am a country person so this did bother me – but then I wanted a site with good road links to the NEC so it is a price you need to pay. I would use the site again – if I wanted to be in this location but not as a peaceful country getaway

Good for tourist activities

Arrival was easy with David showing us to our pitch. The CL has 6 hardstandings which were occupied while we were there as well as there being another caravan. The CL perimeter is home to 4 other caravans and a mobile home and there were a number of tents. This does mean that the shower block gets a bit grassy when it is wet. The site is flat and a short walking distance from a locals club in Beaudesert and a very nice pub, the Case is Altered which is just less than a mile away. The site is in close proximity to Warwick, Kenilworth and Leamington Spa. Only slightly further away is Stratford. We took advantage of the quiet walking available along one of the two canals about 3 miles away. The major downside to this CL for me was the noise from about 5am to after midnight of the vehilcles using the B4177 from the M40 to the M42. I never got used to it altough my wife did.
