The Crofters Snug. The name alone conjures up cosy contentment. Being at one with yourself, and the nature around you. Peace, and tranquillity. The ability to appreciate your surroundings. All these things and more, are in abundance at Crofters Snug. The friendliness of Jo, and Karina, the hard work they put in each day, to make your stay all that you hoped for, and more. Our stay at Crofters Snug was all the above. It has been a while since we enjoyed the total relaxation this CL offers. The views over the Pentland Firth are just amazing. The odd sighting of the ferry wending its way to the Orkney islands, the multitude of birds, all searching for a safe haven to lay their eggs, and hatch their chicks. Above all the amazing spectacle of the Aurora Borealis, an experience one can only hope to enjoy in a lifetime. All this and more we took away with us when we left.
