Stayed for a 2rd visit to The Crown at Mickleton. Excellent, if only to enjoy fine food in the pub. Unfortunately one of our nights was a Monday when it is closed - the owners must have some time off! But we enjoyed a superb meal on the 2rd night. Everything is as it should be on the ideal CL site - even down to a sliding sign on the gate to indicate if the shower/toilet is in use! Another pub down the road but this too was closed so we had to open a bottle of wine on the first night. Hoping it doesn't get too popular in the CL as we want to return. Note the compact, cute micro barn which is useful if friends visiting. Thank You for a super stay!
