… and a Secret gate to the Forest A lovely, very attractive site, easy to access from the Coleford - Chepstow Road. The hard standings are absolutely flat, which means that it is possible to simply drive up and put the legs down! The facilities are very clean and well arranged. Tintern Abbey, the Wye Valley and Chepstow are within easy driving distance, as is the Severn Valley and views of the bridge. We had a wonderfully warm welcome from Penny, Mary and Paul, who went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed for a successful stay and lots of knowledge about the local area. I don’t think we have been offered a cup of tea on arrival anywhere else! We were made to feel as though we were family. The weather was wonderful! Sitting outside in a tee shirt in October is pretty exceptional we think. And a secret gate into the Forest… beautiful views and a short walk down to Clearwell Caves.
