Ease of arrival/welcome

Fantastic access to all that the area offers

Fantastic welcome - loved the home made raspberry jam. Penny and Mary always around to help and provided maps for the area. New building housing a secure bike store with electric to charge e-bikes, unisex toilet and black waste disposal. 4 of the pitches are hardstanding with electric. Easy access to.cycle trails and downhill trails along Dark Hill tramway from Coleford. Lots of walking direct from the campsite both farmland and open land. Lots of wildlife on site and just out the back gate - squirrels, owls, deer etc. Lovely farm shop about 6 miles west at Cowshill selling rare breed and local produce. Coleford Leisure helped us out when we had a MH issue. Only slight downside is the road noise from the B4228 which runs along the site. Affected my partner more then me so will depend on your individual perspective. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
