Amazing to have a pool!
We visited The Grange during Storm Kieron, so were very grateful of the pool house to shelter in while my intrepid husband did all the setting up, only takes about half an hour, but was challenging in those weather conditions! Having unlimited access to a heated indoor pool was so brilliant, I confess that the grown ups found the water a bit chilly but our 12 year old loved it and went in at least once a day. The pool is approx 12m long, 5 m wide and 1.5 m at the deep end, access is down shallow end steps. We made full use of the free showers in the pool house as our 80s van doesn't have such luxuries. The water in the showers was hot and plentiful .
Anyone who has noticed from Google earth that there is a pet crematorium and funeral service on-site need not be concerned as this is not noticeable on the site itself, you do occasionally see sad families walking along the drive but that is all.
The site itself is quite long and narrow, we were a little close to other caravans, there wasn't a great deal of space to spread out. Behind you is an old red brick wall and in front fields, plenty of horses and geese about which I imagine young children would enjoy looking at. Not a lot of interesting walks from the site, long straight lanes between farms, we couldn't find any footpaths. As it was rainy this didn't bother us, we used the car to explore the area.
