Lovely off grid site in great location
The site is reasonably flat, mostly grass. Useful motorhome water fill up point on hard standing not far from entrance. The car park from one of the pubs is next door, so a certain amount of noise from that. One evening was a bit noisy, but overall very quiet and peaceful. It really is only a couple of minutes walk to the canal (and we have mobility problems) which is very interesting, always something going on. Nice little museum, with cafe. Good ice cream shop associated with The Boat Inn on the wharf.
We need more sites like this.
