Stayed here in August 2015, very peaceful and quite, only the sound of the cows in the morning to awaken us.  The site is basic with no facilities but does have electic hook up (approx £1 per night) fresh water and waste facilities.  Access is a little tricky but we just drove slowly.  The nearest town, Wem, is small and has limited facilites, but it does have rail access to Shrewsbury and Chester. Pubs in the town are generally small (no theme pubs) and authentic and sell lovely Shropshire ales.  Walking in the area is fabulous and was our main reason to visit. Overall we loved it and can't wait to go back
