We arrived in the dark in the pouring rain, the owner was very helpful and came out and directed us onto a pitch by flashlight. Some hard standings and depending on where you pitch and if not busy you could connect to the water supply. Good walk straight from the site and although its right next to the main line railway we did not notice the train noise at all they were so fast it sounded like a gust of wind. The site is very well sheltered. Well spaced pitches meander around the hedgerows forming little coves which make it interesting and gave a feeling of space and privacy. The chemical toilet is by the main gate so it could be a long walk if on the furthest pitch.
