On a main road this site has a good entrance but is best approached from Colchester with a caravan. Road noise wasn't obtrusive. The owners are pleasant and helpful. Spacious fully serviced pitches with electric meter which worked out for us about £1 60 per day, there is a charge for a groundsheet of £1 50 per day. Some pitches are better than others although fairly flat. At one end of the site there is a clean well kept toilet portakabin (own sink plugs required) with sanitizer etc because of covid 19, in there is site information and at the far end there is a shed with a washing machine and tumble dryer also there are books which can be borrowed or exchanged. Wifi is free for 30 mins a day provided by camping connect. The coast isn't too far away and we can recommend Youngs for fish and chips at Frinton on Sea and eaten in the nearby park!!.
