The entrance to the site is somewhat unattractive but once inside there is a very pleasant green open space to enjoy with views over the surrounding countryside.
The owner is very welcoming and obliging.
The wc/whb facility is a tin structure that causes some amusement with visiting friends, but is kept very clean and is good working order.
Wednesday night in the Admiral Hood pub is pie night (£6) and was packed early on.
Easy walking distance to post office/store also.
