The Missing Sock. A great stay

Me and my partner have just returned from our three night stay at the Missing Sock. We booked two nights originally and then returned for a third night . I have never written a review before but really needed to say how much we enjoyed our stay. The field with the pitches is quite small but was fine for us in our 5.5 metre campervan. All pitches have electric. On arrival on the Sunday night we were met by the owner and shown around. We got a great pitch in the far corner of the site looking out over open fields. There was only one other campervan which left the following morning leaving us the only people on site. On Sunday night there was a small wedding party at the pub but that didn't bother us at all. The pub is only open Wed to Sunday. We had a couple of drinks on the Sunday night and enjoyed the very friendly atmosphere. There is a nearby bus stop outside a farm shop about a mile up the road and a park and ride a little further. We walked to the bus stop and caught the no 12 into Cambridge which took around 10 minutes. The busses run around every 20 minutes. I believe the no 10 11 and 12 busses will take you into Cambridge from the farm shop bus stop. ( Directions..come out of the Missing Sock and turn right on the main road, for approx 1 mile. You will have to cross over to the other side of the road for the farm shop bus stop) All in a fantastic stay. Very Very handy for Cambridge. What more could I add. Very clean modern shower room and toilet, What more do you need. We returned for another night. and we would gladly stay again.
