Great CL Site

This is a great site if you are into CL sites. We had a great view across fields with horses a donkey and lots of different bird types. We also picked a weekend just after the storm in June which must have put people off as we had the site to ourselves but Mark did say this was unusual though. Mark and Tracey were very friendly and willing to help where they can. The water and disposal facilities are very clean and accessible. Highly recommended. Will be returning.

Pure Bliss

We have just spent 7 wonderful days at this absolutely beautiful peaceful site which has fabulous views of surrounding hills and woodlands with horses in the paddocks surrounding the site and a gorgeous donkey called 'Denzil'. The pitches are huge and you have a choice of hardstanding or grass. Mark and Tracey, the owners, are extremely nice people and the water and waste disposal facilities are impeccably clean and very well set up. The grass is mown and the cuttings are collected so no grass gets in your van. All in all would recommend anyone to stay at this site, and I could guarantee that it wouldn't be just the once as you would want to come back. If we did not live across the other side of the country we would stay on a regular basis. Thank you Mark and Tracey for probably the best CL site we have stayed on so far. Just a note for future visitors, if you do not walk or cycle you would need a car as the bus stop is quite a way away from the site, but that is why it is so peaceful and tranquil. We wish all CL sites were like this !!

What a find!

We stayed at Pondarosa for 6 nights at the beginning of May over the Bank holiday weekend. Despite it being Bank Holiday, we had the place to ourselves for three of those nights. It is very peaceful and secluded and the site itself it is not visible at all from Potmans Lane, so feels secure. The site is large and beautifully maintained - well mown, with a mix of hardstanding and grass areas to pitch on, with lots of room to spread out! The waste and water facilities are obviously recently installed and very well maintained too. All in all, a lovely site and we will definitely be back. Thank you Mark and Tracey.

Wonderful Site.

We have just stayed for 3 nights at the Ponderosa. We absolutely loved it. So quiet and peaceful.. Just what we were hoping for. The views of the fields with the horses was a bonus for us too. The owners Mark &Tracey are lovely people.....They met us on our arrival and left us alone for the rest of our stay. We can certainly recommend this site if you just want to chill.....We will definitely be going back to the Ponderosa.....probably in the early spring..

Hidden gem

We stayed at Pondarosa for 3 nights during August and we can't praise the site enough. Lovely warm welcome from Mark, Tracy and their son Jake, who very thoughtfully brought a bike up for our granddaughter to use. The site is well looked after, the water area and bin area are pristine. Beautiful peaceful site, with horses and a donkey in the surrounding paddocks. Lovely views and very central for visiting Battle and other places of interest. We will definitely be frequent visitors to Ponderosa.

Perfect, peaceful site

We stayed at Pondarosa for three nights during half term. It is incredibly peaceful, well away from any traffic or houses. the only views were countryside and horses. The facilities are all brand new, clearly signed and well laid out exactly what you would want from this type of site. The entrance was simple to find and easy to access with an easy off road gate. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and places to visit. The site is located just a few minutes drive from Bexhill and Hastings as well as Battle. This site is near enough for us to use on a regular basis and we will be back again in August.
