June 2023 - We stayed for 5 nights (Pitch 1), part of our touring of the Yorkshire Dales. Lovely peaceful site with fantastic views of Pen-y-Ghent (we just climbed this peak)! Our van was alongside the wild flowers which was beautiful. Clean Shower & Toilet & good utility area for washing/washing up etc. A couple of minutes walk into the village or train station - recommend the trail to Carlisle, beautiful scenery along the route. Next door to the CL is the recreation ground, so you can exercise dogs in here if need be & there are tennis courts. Robert & Jane will forward a e-information pack upon request which has great information. The only slight niggle was the grass was long on our pitch, luckily we didn't have rain during our trip so not as much of a problem Recommend this CL & will definitely stay again when we are in that area.
