Booked a long weekend at the site to enjoy some hill walking. Received a warm welcome and shown where all the facilities were. Facilities were of a very high standard including a washing up area. Dogs were all on a lead which suits us. Pitches are fairly level and grass was firm. Exceptional views The pubs in the village are nothing special but you don’t need them with such a wonderful site to enjoy your own meal. Village is a great starting point for many walks including Pen y Ghent & Ingleborough. The area gets very busy during the summer with people coming to do the three peaks challenge but even when the village is bustling, the site is tranquil.
