This is a lovely peaceful site with views over the valley. There is no road noise . All you can hear are the birds. We couldn't get any wifi or phone signal on site but that's not an issue when on holiday. The site is part sloping so levelling blocks are required and this is easily achieved. The roads to the site from the A40 are narrow in places but as there is very little traffic this didn't cause any problems. The site is grass with half of the field given over to a wild meadow. Very picturesque and wonderful for watching wildlife. Locally there are some good pubs serving food and Monmouth is only a short drive away. There is a bus stop one minute walk from the site with buses into Monmouth. This is a relaxing site with lovely views.
