Posted on 20/10/2019 15:07 by TinwheelerThat doesn’t sound a good experience and not what I’d expect looking at the picture of the site.
To be fair, you knew there were no facilities when you booked so that shouldn't have been a surprise.

Yes, it was a bit of a shame and unexpected. You're right, it doesn't state it has toilets but for a 'family friendly' place you'd be forgiven for assuming it has something in the way of on site facilities. As I mentioned, although £15 isn't expensive, I've stayed on cheaper sites that have toilets.

If a site description doesn’t state it has toilets/showers, then it doesn’t have them so there should be no misunderstanding. It’s not really related to pricing as CL fees vary by area and what other sites around them charge.
Better luck next time👍🏻

Again, similar to the first comment, I am not saying there was a misunderstanding. Sites around this location that I've stayed at have toilets. It could be a portaloo or a brick shower/toilet block. Something I said in the reply was that you'd be forgiven for expecting a basic facility like a toilet if you're used to spending £15 and having an on site toilet facilities.
